(3) Library building - it seemed improbable that the whole expenditure (87,505 + air conditioning) would need to be incurred before 1956, byť it was not possible to judge this without knowing whether the library was planned to be completed in sections, whether it included provision for stacks, whether the estimate covered furniture (ss distinct from fittings), etc.

(4) Science departmenta - it was impossible to comment on this item without further information about the departments included, whether the figure covered any extenditure on the mediegɗ school, and on the departments of veterinary sqfence, agriculture and forestry, etc.
